Best mac for college students 2018. Macbook air is the best college laptop because of the amazing battery life (and superior OS X operating system) I would checkout slickdeals for some slick deals and pick one up. Macbook Pro with retina display is really cool as well but it costs more and the battery life kinda sucks. Retina display is useful tho. Best MacBook of 2018 — for College Students The 13-inch MacBook Air is the best MacBook college students can buy today. It's inexpensive for a Mac, has plenty of ports, and is light enough to carry with you all day.

Original Title: Outlook.com & Outlook for Mac I'm a newbie when it comes to Outlook.com -- I have a Mac with OSX Mavericks. I travel all over the place and find it hard to try and sync my mail from one device to another. I've added my corporate email now to Outlook.com while on the road, and need to know if I send email/receive email to/from my corporate account using Outlook.com, when I go to my office, will that email magically appear in Outlook for Mac? If so, will it replicate on a Macbook Por and Mac Mini using Outlook for Mac? I know it sounds absurd, but I've been having to use Gotomypc to get into my email remotely, and now with the latest release of Mavericks, GOTOMYPC does not work so well. So --need to come up with a solution. I currently use Mac Mail, but can't open it on two devices, as for it will not populate both systems to sync properly.

So, I'm hoping that Outlook.com will work when i travel and get firewalled, and once back in the office, I can download everything or have everything magically appear on my Outlook for Mac. Lastly, can you add an image in the signature line of outlook.com mail? Appreciate any assistance on this. Hi, Thank you for posting your concern in Microsoft community. Based on your issue details above, you want to know how to sync your emails even when you are away from your office and how to create an image on your mail signature. To start off, we would like to inform you that IMAP settings is now available in Outlook.com so that you can sync real time your emails without losing the copy on the server.
To do this, kindly follow the steps on the link below: To create a photo signature in your email account, you have to save a photo in a virtual hard drive or have it available to view online and in public. One of the best ways to do it is to put your desired photo signature in Microsoft SkyDrive. The recommended image size is 200 X 100 pixels so that the other mail services will display your emails correctly. Once the image has been successfully uploaded in SkyDrive, you have to set the image as public so that other user can see it. Afterwards, you have to open and view the image as original and copy the entire URL of the opened image. Now, you have to go to your Outlook.com account to set the uploaded image as your signature.
Here's how to do it: 1. Go to and log in with your Microsoft account 2. Go to your Inbox 3. Click the Gear icon and select More mail settings 4.
Under Writing email category, select Message font and signature 5. Under Personal signature, click the Rich text dropdown and select Edit in HTML 6. Paste these codes in the field: (please replace the texts that are in bold letters only) Please let us know if you have more questions.
